ALMATY (UrduPoint News / Sputnik – 07th January, 2022) Intense shooting can be heard around Republic Square in Kazakhstan‘s Almaty after a relatively long period of silence, a Sputnik correspondent reported Friday.
The square was empty of protesters; the gunfire is presumably targeting aggressors that have barricaded in the office of a broadcaster near the square.
